This Christmas I ordered some cheap decorations from China, which are quite nice actually and surprisingly are NOT "cheap chinese crap" :D Well cheap and chinese yes...
So here I am hanging them up in my warm onesie (still the warmest thing I own - better than any winter coat). Took only about half an hour but the house looks at least a little christmassy now.
(about 30 seconds in you can see me forgetting about the camera and taking my time to hug and kiss the dog :D)

Oh, and this came a bit later - it's a net with lights which we hung on the house in the shape of a christmas tree. When we had a visitor he said he first thought we had put up a huge tree outside :D Nope, just 11 euros worth of lights!

My mother accidentally stumbled upon some brooches on ebay. We started looking through all of them and were very surprised - most of them cost between 1-2€. And they were new! And packaged! And there was no shipping fee! There are so many details and the quality is excellent too. I still can't believe it's for real.
Look at them - all of these together cost just under 25€!

I was working out and at some point when I looked down, I saw this:

That was definitely the first time my sweat made me smile :D

There's a new building in our town which was recently completed. Yesterday when we were walking past it, we decided to peek inside. Nothing interesting - there is still some work going on there. But it's when we walked away a little bit that we burst out laughing. It turns out we were far from the only curious ones :D

As a child I was really disappointed when I would bite into something made of chocolate and it would be empty. So now I decided to make my younger self happy :D
I took a kinder surprise egg and filled it with nutella!! It was great!!

And yes, I ate the whole jar in 2 sittings instead of the recommended 15...

There was a thunderstorm one day, which meant (since the Internet had to be turned off...) it was time to read, drink coffee and listen to the rain. And luckily our dog isn't scared of it at all.

My father gave my mother some beautiful red roses for her birthday. And the amazing thing - it has been 1,5 months and three of them are still standing!! We are not usually very good with plants so it seems unbelievable to us :)

I love coffee and what I love even more is the first coffee from a freshly opened pack! It's sooo good!!

Sometime last year I bought a onesie (for 40€). It's one of the best things I've ever bought!!
It's really comfortable and warm. It's also quite big so I can wear other clothes underneath it and then I'm even warm in -25°C weather. I just wish it was okay to wear it in public... :D

I know I'm late with this but I recently discovered Periscope... And am having so much fun "visiting" people from all around the world. For example I stumbled upon this really nice truck driver
I've always been curious about truck drivers' everyday life so it was interesting to get some of my questions answered. Most other people I watched on Periscope were just bored employees... I think Periscope is a great app for them, just to be able to talk to people while there are no customers.

My mother recently discovered an incredibly talented Russian singer named Vitold Petrovskiy. We were very lucky to "go" to one of his concerts - it was live streamed. It was great to be sitting at home, on a comfortable couch and enjoy a wonderful concert. It felt like we were really there in the audience.
You could say it was kind of like teleportation and being invisible at the same time :D

Today I went to the store and after buying groceries, as I was walking out I had a funny moment with a stranger (a man with a funny mustache) who was walking in: we had this little dance you do when you both go in the same direction a few times. Usually I would feel embarrassed after something like that, but this time we just looked at each other, smiled and walked away :D

It's really cold here right now (was -29°C this morning) and although it has mostly negative effects, there is one thing that I really enjoy - the paintings made by nature on the walls and windows :) Here's our corridor wall

Although it's important to have similar interests with the person you live with, it's sometimes great to have differences as well. For example while I like the soft part of bread, my mother likes the crust :)
Oh, and we now have a bread maker which gives us delicious fresh bread!

I often whine about the climate in our country, which is mostly cold throughout the year with only a few warm months. I really don't like the cold but there is one thing that makes me happy when I see frost outside - it means that there aren't going to be any people partying outside anymore! (I am a very light sleeper so I can't sleep when there is any music playing outside)
So maybe this climate is actually the best for me :)

I remember always hating raking the leaves as a kid, because it took such a long time and it was annoying that the leaves got stuck in the rake and I had to take them off it every few minutes.

This year I started raking and only when I was half way done I noticed that the leaves weren't getting stuck in the new rake! And the process was actually quite pleasant this time! :)

Here's what my rake looked like after an hour of working

My mother has always been very understanding and calm about accidents, for example she has never shouted at me for losing my keys, but rather tried to help me find them or thought of a way to solve the problem.
Recently I once again (I'm very clumsy and this has happened a lot) broke a plate while washing it. I love what my mother did - she didn't get mad, she just said "That's great! It means we will have to buy new plates one day - we won't have to live with the same boring plates our whole life :)"

We live in a small town and I think we are very lucky compared to people who live in big cities and always walk on polluted streets next to cars and tall buildings.
For example we have a shortcut to local train station and shops that looks like this:

For a while we have been buying different coffee mugs that we like. Now we have a little collection and it's so nice to wake up in the morning and choose a mug depending on the mood :)

Yesterday I was going to a mall and before that decided to let my dog out in our yard for a little while. When I went to call her back in she was laying down next to the door and came in quickly. It was then that I saw something horrible - the wind had broken a lock and the gates were wide open!

I am so very lucky that my dog didn't notice the open gate because otherwise she could have been on the other side of our little town by that time and might have even caused an accident.
I consider what happened kind of like winning the lottery - this could have ended really badly but this time nothing happened and I just learned that I need to replace the old lock :)
