I found this youtube channel BigCatDerek, where a man named Derek shows how he walks around the care center of big cats like tigers and lions.
I have always thought that people who get to work with big cats are truly lucky and now it turns out I can also experience and see these amazing animals and how they interact with people!

And even my cat watched it a little!

Two of my cats taught themselves to jump on me while I'm standing. Here's one of them:

It's fun and sometimes they even decide to surprise me with it for example by jumping on my back while I put my shoes on. So this is a little thing that makes me smile!

In one of the cabinets of our house we found a stack of old magazines and newspapers left here by the previous owners. Sometimes we like to look at them and find something interesting.
For example in a German newspaper from year 1957 I found a page with caricatures about men.
This one I especially liked because when I was I child I was completely certain it was the right way to make clothes

Today I got some great news - a charge from my bank account for over 100 euros will be refunded! 

Yesterday I found out that I was mistakenly charged by wix.com for a website I didn't even have anymore which made me feel terrible, because I know it's usually very difficult to get through with your problem to such a big company. 

In addition to a refund I was positively surprised to get very fast, informative and polite messages from their Wix Support.  

This morning we went for a walk in the forest and drank coffee by the lake. During the walk to the forest and back we didn't see ANY people! Very nice calm way to start a day.

A couple days ago I discovered that one of my cats had played with a roll of plastic bags and consequently all of them had holes in them. Due to the fact that I use these plastic bags to clean cats' litter box, I wasn't going to be able to use them anymore.
Instead of throwing the roll away I decided to use the bags to make my dog a toy. It was fun to see her jump high in the air when the bags were lifted by wind!

This month we had to spend an unexpectedly large amount of money and already by the middle of the month we had very little left. So we are eating all that we have; we found these dried beans, soaked them in water and cooked them with tomato paste. I really like the taste of this but for some reason never eat it when we have money to go and buy something cooked.

Also we baked a lot of apple cake and and I can eat as much as I want because otherwise it will go bad.

All these years that microwaves have been around, there has been a lot of beeping in my home.
I am rather irritable to different sounds so have always had these daily battles with microwaves to stop them in time in order to hear as few beeps as possible.
A couple days ago we talked about it with my mother and it made me think about the necessity of the beeping.
I found the manual and after a minute I was able to do something wonderful - I turned the microwave's sound off!

Today I found out why I shouldn't be sad about not having good-quality, heavy wooden furniture. After only half an hour of moving around all my cheap light-weight furniture I got the nice feeling of having a new room again.
