This year we didn't have any snow in December and in our country it's important to people to have a white Christmas.
It was already a day before Christmas, the evening, when I went to let my dog outside and saw something wonderful - everything was white and it was still snowing! It made me very happy to think that all the people who were sat inside would wake up on Christmas morning and see what they all wished for: a white Christmas!
Also we went for a very nice walk with my mother to look at beautifully decorated houses :)

I was drinking peppermint tea with my mother and because it was really good we started talking about it.

Turns out this tea has traveled over a thousand kilometers from my mothers hometown! Once when she visited them she was given a plant with roots and mother planted it in our summerhouses garden.
This peppermint grows really well (even in our bad conditions) and the sort is excellent (strong and aromatic), so I think it's kind of an inheritance! :)

I was walking home with heavy grocery bags and feeling very tired when I spotted something that made me smile and forget about the heavy bags. It was a trail with really tiny footprints in front of our house!

It was funny to imagine a little creature (maybe a mouse?) hopping around on its tiny feet between all these large footprints :)
Since I can't travel far, I found a way I could kind of experience travelling - I decided I want to read blogs written about different countries, so I used one of Google's options and typed in inurl:blogspot.com with "live in Bulgaria".
I was very happy with the result because I found this wonderful blog http://oldschoolbulgaria.blogspot.com/ where an Englishman emigrates to Bulgaria!

Since I found it we have been reading it every evening with my mother. The blog is full of wonderful pictures and stories so every day we look forward to the evening when we go on a little trip to a beautiful country :)
