Three days ago it was raining and when I got home, I left my phone in the wet jacket. After hours I discovered my absolutely wet (drops of water under the display and on the sd-card) and not working phone.
I took everything I could apart and let it dry overnight, but unfortunately the phone was not turning on.
Today I decided to try again and I don't know how it's possible, but my phone is completely normal and working again!!
Thank you Sony Ericsson Xperia for putting up with me for so long and not dying despite my careless behavior!

I like this page 8tracks.com because there I can listen to playlists others have put together by genre or tags.
 Lately I've been searching for a mix that would be positive and happy, but even when I write the word "happy", there are still playlists with songs that are rather slow and sad.
Yesterday I finally found this one playlist that is exactly what I was searching for!

It's the middle of October which means we haven't taken care of outside-flowers for over a month. There's a flower hanging from the second-floor's window which still looks so beautiful despite no watering and very cold temperatures! So every time I go to the second floor I see this little pink "miracle"!

My dog and me went to walk around our yard in the evening and discovered that there were a lot of frogs jumping around. I assume they are already searching for a place where they will hibernate and it looks like many have chosen our yard for that.
Since my dog is of a hunting breed, she is interested in any movement and was very happy to have someone else to chase besides me. She didn't "catch" any of them though - she doesn't like anyone strange touching her so she only chased them around and jumped up if any of them bumped into her.

Many tv-shows have started again recently and now it's so nice to see new episodes of great shows that make me laugh and feel good! For example a new show called 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' which has multiple absolutely ridiculous and funny characters

A couple years ago my father decided to do something especially nice for my mother's birthday. So he went to a perfume store (which is very unlike him) and bought an expensive bottle of perfume...
Everything was great but my mother is sensitive to different smells and she just didn't like it at all. I can't wear it either, it's too strong for me. But because of it being such a big gesture we couldn't give away the bottle and it just stood on the shelf.

Now since it's cold out and I had to bring back in my only plant that stayed outside for the summer, I once again had to think of a way to keep cats away from the soil.
As I didn't have anything I could use to build a proper cover with, I was only able to make a weird-looking one which unfortunately wasn't effective at all. But then I remembered about the perfume and sprayed some of it on the soil, so cats finally left my plant alone!! Now the perfume won't (entirely) go to waste and my plant might survive!

Something very rare and incredible happened today - we went shopping for a certain type of pants and a coat and found both in the first store we walked in! And to make it even better, both sizes were right on the first pick!

To describe how rare such a thing is I will say that: last year we searched for a coat for so long the whole winter was over and I didn't need it anymore...

In our neighborhood there is a house that looks completely normal but as we have discovered, has very unusual people in it. No matter what time of year it is, the area around the house is ALWAYS clean and neat. It's nice to see their lawn always mowed, leaves raked and snow shoveled. They even keep the forest around the house clean and mowed, so it now looks like a park.
But this is what made me laugh today

And I know they will keep it that way despite the wind and cars!

While trying to change some video resolution settings on my tablet I accidentally discovered that there's also an option to make the photos have a three times better quality compared to default settings...

So finally I was able to take a decent photo of the beautiful light blue eyes my cat has! I have tried to do this for a long time but when I did it with the large camera I had to be far away and she always came to check what I wanted when I tried to get her to look at me. On the other hand I could never do it with my phone because I had to put it right in her face and she just ended up sniffing it. With the tablet the photo came out exactly as I wanted!

Today I carried in some firewood from the shed to the house to last me about a week.
Once I decided to search for something positive in everything, I started to enjoy doing chores like this one - I really hate all kinds of plain exercise like jogging or going to the gym so seeing some results from my activity keeps me motivated to be at least a little more active (and this in turn motivates me to do things around the house)
